Operations and PPR
PPR required: All arrivals and departures require prior permission (PPR). No operations between 10pm and 6am (local).
Weekend / Holidays*: If weather conditions allow VFR traffic, a standard radio call during approach is sufficient as a PPR request: from 9:00am to sunset, at the latest 19:00 (LCL). No operations between 10pm and 6am (local). Please do not submit a written online request for this time window.
PPR Requests: For weekday PPR requests, please use our online form exclusively. The fee is waived on weekends and public holidays* (between 9:00am and 7pm or sunset). IFR PPR requests must be submitted separately and are approved on a case-by-case basis up to 24 hours before the planned flight.

- Avoid residential areas near the airfield – especially Gartenstadt (0.5 NM SE), Gundelsheim (0.5 NM N), Kramersfeld (0.1 NM N) and Hallstadt (1 NM NW)
- For noise abatement reasons, circuit flying without board approval is prohibited; a minimum flight time of 20 minutes applies
